Now that Cyber Monday is every bit the shopping day that Black Friday is, you need to keep on the lookout for the best online deals so you don't miss out on big savings. One of the things we always look forward to on Cyber Monday is the sale on many major streaming platforms, and this year, there's a pretty huge deal on Apple TV. Right now, you can score more than 50% off six months of Apple TV, home to an impressive catalog of original shows like Slow Horses, Severance, Pluribus, Shrinking, Stick and Bad Sisters, plus Oscar-winning original movies, and much more. Here's everything you need to know about this Apple TV Cyber Monday streaming deal.
Not eligible for the Apple TV deal?
If you don't qualify as a new or eligible returning subscriber for some reason, but you are an Amazon Prime member, you may be able to redeem this same deal via an Amazon add-on channel, through December 1:
Why is this a good Cyber Monday deal?
Anyone who streams anything these days knows that streaming platforms rarely (if ever, *cough* Netflix *cough*) have sales. This gem of a Cyber Monday deal will save you $42 and provide you with six months of ad-free access to great shows and movies, which feels especially significant in today's era of streaming costs.
Why do I need Apple TV?
While Apple TV typically costs $13/month, during this Cyber Monday sale you can get six months of access for just $5.99/month — and catch up on the latest shows everyone's talking about. Check out the Emmy-winning series The Studio, or Vince Gilligan's latest series Pluribus, plus beloved hits like The Morning Show andTed Lasso, too.
Looking for more shows to watch on Apple TV? We've got you covered.
Who is eligible for the Cyber Monday Apple TV deal?
This deal is available to eligible new and qualified returning subscribers redeeming on eligible Apple devices or where a subscription to Apple TV is billed directly through Apple.
The offer won't be available to those already eligible for three months of free Apple TV, or those whose Apple TV subscription is billed through a third party like a mobile wireless provider.
The Cyber Monday Apple TV Prime Video add-on deal is only available to Amazon Prime subscribers, now through Dec. 1
